These Terms govern your use of supersnitch (the website supersnitch.app and the related subscription service). The service is provided by Alessandro Bortoluzzi, registered office at Via Castello 35, Alpago, Belluno (“we”, “us”). By using the service or buying a subscription you accept these Terms and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
In short: we help you follow publicly visible changes on public Instagram profiles. We are not a surveillance tool: we never access private content, and you may not use the service to monitor, stalk or harass anyone.
1. Who we are and how to reach us
Service provider: Alessandro Bortoluzzi, Via Castello 35, Alpago, Belluno.
- Support and questions about the service: support@supersnitch.app
- Privacy and requests to exclude a profile: privacy@supersnitch.app
You can write to us in English or Italian. These Terms are available in Italian and English; the Italian version is the legally prevailing one and this English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy the Italian version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
2. The service
supersnitch is a subscription web service that lets you follow, over time, some publicly visible information on public Instagram profiles:
- which accounts a profile starts or stops following, with the time we detected the change (Instagram doesn’t show the actual time);
- how the number of followers and followed accounts changes over time.
For private profiles we only show the public counts (followers and following), never the lists. Each subscription lets you monitor up to 3 public profiles. The service is designed for uses such as creators, brands, fans, market and competitor research, and following public profiles you are interested in.
supersnitch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
3. What the service does not do
- We never ask for Instagram credentials, yours or anyone else’s, and we never log in to Instagram with an account.
- We never access private content: no private profiles (beyond their public counts), messages, stories or other non-public content.
- We never interact with monitored accounts in any way: we don’t follow, like, comment or send messages.
- We don’t send any notice to the person whose profile is monitored. This does not make lawful a use that would otherwise be unlawful: see section 5.
Data is collected from publicly accessible pages through a third-party data-collection provider, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use the service.
After purchase you create an account with an email address and a password. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password safe and not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account; if you suspect unauthorized access, contact us right away.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@supersnitch.app from the email address linked to it. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your paid subscription: cancel it first as described in section 9, or ask us to help you.
5. Acceptable use
You must use the service lawfully, respecting the rights of others, and only where you have a legitimate interest in following the public profile you choose. In particular, you must not:
- use the service to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten or monitor anyone, including a current or former partner, or in any way that violates a person’s rights or the law (for example anti-stalking laws);
- monitor profiles of minors, or profiles you know or have reason to believe belong to minors;
- publish, share, sell or resell data obtained through the service, or use it to identify, track down or expose a person (doxxing);
- use the data to send unsolicited communications or for discriminatory purposes;
- access the service by automated means, scrape our website, circumvent profile limits, security measures or access controls, or resell access to the service;
- use the service in breach of data protection laws.
If we receive reports or have concrete indications of prohibited use, we may investigate, stop monitoring a profile, or suspend or close the account (section 12) and, where necessary, cooperate with the competent authorities.
6. Free preview
You can enter an Instagram username and see, for free and without an account or payment, a preview with some public data of the profile (for example name, picture, bio, follower and following counts). Preview results may be stored for about 24 hours. The preview is there to help you understand the service before subscribing; the rules in section 5 apply to the preview too.
7. Subscriptions, prices and automatic renewal
The following plans are available:
- Weekly: €8.99 per week;
- Yearly: €34.99 per year.
Prices include any applicable taxes, as shown at checkout. Checkout may show the price in your local currency: the amount shown before you confirm the purchase is the one that applies. Promotion codes may be offered, on the terms stated with the offer. There is no free trial.
Your subscription starts right after payment and renews automatically at the end of each period (week or year) for an equal period, at the then-current price, charged to the same payment method, until you cancel. You can switch plans from the subscription settings, where available.
We may change prices for the future. We will give you reasonable advance notice before a new price applies to your next renewal; if you don’t agree you can cancel before the renewal.
8. Payments through Link (Stripe Managed Payments)
Payments are handled through Stripe Managed Payments. The merchant of record for supersnitch subscriptions is Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe group company operating under the Link brand (“Link”). That is why at checkout, in emails and on receipts your purchase appears as “Sold through Link”, and on your bank statement as “LINK.COM*” followed by the service name.
Link handles checkout, the calculation and remittance of VAT and other indirect taxes, receipts and invoices, payment collection and renewals, payment and subscription support, refunds and disputes (chargebacks). The payment aspects of your purchase are also governed by Link’s Consumer Terms, including the “Sold Through Link Terms” (link.com/terms), and by Link’s refund policy (support.link.com/questions/sold-through-link-refunds).
We remain responsible for the supersnitch service and how it works, which is governed by these Terms. We do not receive or store your full card or other payment method details.
Help with payments, receipts and refunds: support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link, or write to us and we will help.
9. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time, with no penalty:
- from your account: Settings → “Manage subscription”;
- or from your Link account at link.com, where “Sold through Link” purchases are managed;
- or by writing to support@supersnitch.app.
Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: until then you keep access to the service. At the end of that period, monitoring of your profiles stops. Refund and withdrawal rules are in section 10 and on the “Cancellation & refunds” page.
10. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005, and Directive 2011/83/EU).
Because the service starts right after purchase, when you buy we ask you to expressly request that the service starts immediately during the withdrawal period and to acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. As a result:
- if you withdraw within 14 days while the paid period is still running, we refund what you paid minus an amount proportionate to the service provided up to the moment you tell us you are withdrawing (article 57(3) of the Italian Consumer Code);
- if the paid period has already ended (for example the week of a weekly plan), the service for that period has been fully performed and the right of withdrawal no longer applies (article 59(1)(a) of the Italian Consumer Code).
If Link’s terms give you more favorable treatment, that treatment applies.
How to withdraw: send a clear statement (for example “I withdraw from my supersnitch subscription contract”) to Link support (support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link), giving “cooling off period” as the reason, or write to support@supersnitch.app from the email address used for the purchase. You may also use the model withdrawal form provided by law. Refunds are issued through Link to the same payment method, at no cost to you, within 14 days of receiving your request.
Other refunds. Except where required by law, there are no refunds, full or partial, for subscription periods that have started or that you haven’t used. Link may grant refunds in certain cases, generally within 60 days of purchase, under its own refund policy; we may also grant refunds at our discretion, for example in case of serious service failures.
11. How the service works, accuracy and changes
We do our best to make the service useful and reliable, but it depends on third-party data we don’t control. In particular:
- checks are periodic: we aim to check profiles about every hour, but the frequency is not guaranteed and may vary, sometimes for long periods, because of technical limits or changes made by Instagram;
- we cannot guarantee that every change is detected, or detected right away: some follows or unfollows may be missed or detected late, for example if they happen and are reversed between two checks or if Instagram limits or alters the visible data;
- the time shown for each event is when we detected it, not when it actually happened;
- if a profile becomes private, is renamed or deleted, monitoring may stop or be limited to the data that remains public.
The core of the service is the tracking described in section 2. Other features, including notifications, may be introduced, changed, improved or removed over time as the service evolves, provided the changes are justified, come at no extra cost to you and do not significantly reduce the core service. If a change makes the service worse in a more than minor way, we will tell you and you can cancel at no cost; your statutory rights are not affected.
The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, failures or causes beyond our control.
12. Suspension and termination
We may stop monitoring a profile, or suspend or close your account, notifying you where possible, if you breach these Terms (especially section 5), if required by law or by an authority, if the owner of a profile exercises the right to object or to be excluded described in the Privacy Policy, or to protect other users, third parties or the service.
If a profile you monitor is excluded at its owner’s request, you can replace it with another profile within your subscription’s limit. If we close your account for a serious breach, no refund is due, except where required by law. If we discontinue the service for reasons not attributable to you, we will refund the part of your subscription you have paid for but not used.
You can stop using the service at any time (sections 4 and 9).
13. Intellectual property
The website, the software, the supersnitch brand and the content we create belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription, for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. Names, pictures and other data of Instagram profiles belong to their respective owners; Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
14. Liability
You are responsible for how you use the service and the data you see, and for making sure that monitoring the profiles you choose is lawful. If you use the service in breach of these Terms or the law, you are liable for the resulting damage.
The service is provided with the features described in these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the data is complete, accurate or up to date, or that the service will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable damage, or for decisions you make relying only on data from the service.
If you use the service for business purposes, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury or in other cases where the law does not allow it, nor does it limit your rights as a consumer, including your rights regarding the conformity of digital services (articles 135-octies and following of the Italian Consumer Code).
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal or technical reasons or as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the service at least 15 days in advance. Changes apply from the first renewal after they take effect; if you don’t agree you can cancel before then. Changes required by law may take effect sooner. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
16. Governing law, courts and complaints
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
For disputes with consumers, the courts of the place where the consumer lives or is domiciled have jurisdiction, if in Italy; consumers living in another EU country may also bring proceedings before the courts of their own country. For non-consumer users, the courts of the place where the provider has its registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you have a problem, please write to us first at support@supersnitch.app: we will try to solve it quickly. For payments and refunds you can also contact Link support. You may also use the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures provided for by articles 141 and following of the Italian Consumer Code, and you can always go to court.
